My archive pages are blank or missing #

Choose the tree to publish on the Dashboard tab, and publish the draft pages the plugin created. If page links 404, refresh permalinks: Settings → Permalinks, then Save Changes.

A GEDCOM import failed or lost accented names #

Export from your genealogy program again choosing UTF-8 encoding. For very large files, ask your hosting company to raise the upload limit.

A living relative is showing - or one is hidden that should show #

Visibility follows the living/private flags on the record, from your GEDCOM or set on the People tab. Anyone flagged living or private is never rendered to visitors; this cannot be switched off (see "Living-Person Privacy").

Can I publish more than one tree? #

The free version publishes one tree at a time - changeable at any point on the Dashboard tab. Publishing several trees together, with a visitor tree switcher, is part of Pro.

Does it work with AP Family Trees? #

Yes - they share one data core. Import in either plugin and both publish the same people. Run Archive on its own or alongside Trees.

Where do I get support? #

Free users: the support forum on WordPress.org. Pro licence holders: the AncestorPress support desk. The in-plugin Help assistant answers locally when an AI provider is configured in WordPress (7.0+), or via the optional support service.
