Everything on Casework → Settings, with its default. Press Save settings at the bottom of the screen.
How your client pages look #
- Practice name - shown at the top of every client page. Defaults to your site title.
- Logo - shown instead of the practice name when set.
- Accent colour - buttons and highlights on the client pages. Default
#2c5f5d. - Footer text - shown at the foot of every client page, above the plugin's own line asking clients not to share their link.
Client pages use their own styling and never load your theme, so a theme change cannot break a form a client is part-way through.
Intake and notifications #
- Send my notifications to - where the plugin emails you. Left empty, it uses the site's administration email address.
- Consent wording - the permission text your client agrees to on the intake form. Left empty, a standard wording is used.
- Largest upload - the biggest file a client can send, from 1 to 200 MB. Default 20 MB. Your server's own upload limit still applies if it is lower.
Keeping records #
- Keep closed engagements for - how long a closed engagement is kept before it can be deleted, from 0 to 50 years. Default 6 years.
- Client files on the web - whether your web server refuses direct requests for casework files, as last measured. Check again measures it now.
- If you delete this plugin - tick Delete every client, engagement and stored file along with it only if you want deleting the plugin to remove your casework. It is unticked by default, so your records survive a delete.
Pro settings #
Pro adds, on the same screen:
- New engagements - your hourly rate and currency (default GBP), and the questions included after delivery (default 3, within 30 days). New plans and AI drafts start from these.
- Your client area - whether clients see how many hours have been used (on by default).
- Your reports - credentials line, paper size (A4 or US Letter), font, colours, report logo with its size and position, and the PDF page footer with page numbers.
- Sign-off and payment - whether the retainer must be recorded as paid before work starts (on), whether the client signs off the final delivery (on), and whether they sign off interim reviews too (off).
- After delivery - what clients read when their questions run out, a consultation link, and whether a delivered engagement closes itself once the time for questions has passed (on).
- Your practice playbook - the repositories, strategies and writing style the AI first drafts are built from. See "AI First Drafts and Your Practice Playbook (Pro)".
Some of these can be changed for one engagement on its Billing & terms tab: showing hours, the retainer before work, and the final and interim sign-offs.
