Delivery is not the end of the conversation. Pro gives each engagement a set number of questions after delivery, a way to start a follow-on piece of work, and offers of further services.
Included questions #
An engagement includes a number of questions within a number of days of delivery - 3 within 30 days unless you change them in Settings, on the plan, or on the Billing & terms tab. The time starts when the work is first delivered. The client sees "2 of 3 included questions remaining, until…" on their Your questions page and asks there.
You answer on the Questions tab, choosing the outcome - Answered, Outside this engagement, or Became a new piece of work - and whether it counts as an included question (untick it for a simple clarification). A question that came by email can be recorded there too.
When the questions run out #
Once the time has passed, the questions are used, or the engagement is closed, the client sees why and reads your consultation text instead, with a Book a consultation button if you have set a consultation link in Settings.
Closing automatically #
Once a day, a delivered engagement whose time for questions has passed and which has no question waiting is closed, with a note in its history. Switch this off under After delivery in Settings.
Follow-on engagements #
On a delivered engagement's Questions tab, Propose a follow-on moves it to Follow-on proposed. When the client says yes, give the new piece of work a title and research question and press The client said yes - start the follow-on: a new engagement is created for the same client, starting at Enquiry, and the delivered one is closed. If they say no, it returns to Delivered. The delivered engagement is never reopened.
Offers #
Casework → Offers lists further services shown on a client's page once their work is delivered: a name, a description, a price written as words (for example "From £45") and either a link to your own page or an I'm interested button, which emails you. Nothing is charged here. Interest is recorded once per engagement and listed on its Questions tab. An offer can be hidden without deleting it.
