The Import / Export tab reads GEDCOM files from all standard GEDCOM 5.5 exporters - Ancestry, FamilySearch, Family Historian, Legacy, RootsMagic, Gramps and the rest.

• Your data is stored exactly as recorded. Dates and places are never changed or "cleaned up"; standardised values used for sorting and search are stored separately, alongside your original text.
• Save your GEDCOM as UTF-8 if your program offers a choice of encodings - accented names survive intact.
• Large files may need a higher upload limit from your hosting company.

Because Archive shares its data core with AP Family Trees, a tree imported in either plugin is available in both. The free version publishes one tree at a time - changeable at any point on the Dashboard tab; publishing several trees together is a Pro feature.
