Can I try before I buy?
The free plan is fully functional with no time limit - install it, import your GEDCOM, and use it as long as you like. You only need to upgrade when you hit the 200-member limit or need features exclusive to Personal or Professional.
What happens when my annual licence expires?
Your plugin continues to work - you won't lose any data or functionality. You simply won't receive updates or support until you renew. We recommend renewing to stay current with WordPress compatibility updates.
Can I upgrade from Personal to Professional later?
Yes. You pay only the difference for the remainder of your billing period. Upgrades are handled instantly through your account at ancestorpress.com/account.
Can I use one licence on multiple sites?
All plans are single-site licences. If you need to run AncestorPress on multiple sites, purchase a licence for each site. Contact us if you have an agency or developer use case and we can discuss options.
Do add-on purchases auto-renew?
Yes, annual add-on purchases renew automatically. Lifetime purchases are a one-time payment with no renewal. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a 14-day refund on all purchases. If AncestorPress doesn't work for your use case within 14 days of purchase, contact support and we will refund in full, no questions asked.
Do you offer VAT invoices?
Yes. Add your company name and VAT number in your account settings and they will appear on invoices. Existing invoices can be reissued on request via support.
Will prices increase in future?
We intend to raise prices when significant new features are added - particularly AI-powered features planned for v1.1. Existing subscribers are grandfathered at their current price for as long as they maintain an active subscription.
Is there a discount for non-profits or genealogy societies?
Contact us at support - we consider requests from registered family history societies and non-profit genealogy organisations on a case-by-case basis.
