# Living-Person Privacy

Anyone flagged as living or private is **never rendered to visitors**. Family listings show only a neutral "Living" placeholder - no name, no dates, no places.

- This protection is enforced in the shared data core and **cannot be switched off** from the admin screen.
- It applies to everyone, including logged-in administrators viewing the public pages.
- It extends to every export a visitor can reach: living and private people are never included in visitor downloads.

Nothing about your visitors is collected, and no person, family, event, source or media record ever leaves your site.
