# Family Links (Pro)

A family link lets your client share the results with relatives without sharing the engagement itself.

## Making one

On the **Client Access** tab, under **Create a family link**, say who it is for (for example "Aunt Mary"), add a PIN if you like, and choose how long it lasts - 90 days to start with. Copy the link when it is shown.

## What it shows

A short overview naming your practice, and the reports and files you have chosen to share. Nothing else: never the stage, hours, invoice, plan, agreement, questions, offers, updates, research log, or anything the client uploaded.

## Choosing what to share

On the **Deliverables** tab, **Share with family** on anything the client can already see. The Client Access tab lists what is shared. Taking a deliverable down ends its sharing, and sending it again does not restore it - share it again if you mean to.

## Living people come first

Anything marked as containing living people is held back from family links even when it is shared, until the mark is cleared.

## Revoking

**Revoke** on the Client Access tab ends a family link at once. The note of who a link was for names a person, so it is included in that client's data download and cleared when they are anonymised.
